We are honored to announce that Along has been named a 2024 Top Ed Tech Products Awards winner by District Administration. Our teacher-student connection builder is one of an elite group of innovative education solutions that will be recognized at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), taking place Jan. 23 – 26, 2024 in Orlando.
The Top EdTech Products Awards annually acknowledge education technology tools that are helping school leaders meet the evolving needs of their districts and schools. Along was judged and chosen a winner for its innovation, effectiveness, and impact in the category of Learning Environment & Student Support Technology.
Winning this award is truly a shared recognition with all of the educators and students who are finding ongoing value and impact from using Along at their schools across the country. Last month, when we heard that Along had been named a Top EdTech Product finalist, we highlighted educators from our community who are just as focused as we are on building teacher-student connections and incorporating student voice into their classrooms. We will continue to share educator accounts throughout this school year!
And now, as we celebrate this accolade, we want to also spotlight some of the other exciting highlights the Along team is most proud of from the first half of 2023-2024:
- Launch of the updated Along: In August, we expanded Along to offer new content and question types, insights and recommendations for educators, and easier onboarding and integration.
- Along named a top tool for 2023-2024 by Common Sense Education: Along was featured on three of Common Sense’s top tools lists in September: 10 Great Free Websites for Middle School, Top Tools for Building Mindfulness in the Classroom, and Great Resources for Teaching Life Skills.
- New eBook — 5 steps to transform schools into communities: Educators can download this free, actionable resource to help them implement a manageable solution for creating thriving school campuses.
- Teachers share Along’s impact: Read inspiring accounts about the power of relationship building from educators Jenn Carlson and Ashley Snider.
- Tips and tricks, and ‘aha’ moments: Along is a tool to help educators connect with their students, but that’s just the start. Check out how Along can help build inclusive classrooms, impact academic classrooms, and build trust with students.
We take inspiration from this latest recognition from District Administration, and from all of these academic year highlights, to continue pushing the envelope. In the coming months, we will provide even more meaningful ways to transform school communities and to improve our product experience—so stay tuned!
