Along achieves Codesign Product Certification from Leanlab Education

Along recently achieved a Codesign Product Certification from Leanlab Education! 

This badge is a result of our intentional development of an evidence-based education solution through codesign research with the education community. We worked with Leanlab Education to make continuous product modifications based on educator feedback and studies. Along is committed to co-designing data-informed tools with, not for, schools.

Using our research-informed content and reflection questions, which were co-created with partners, educators can get to know their students on a personal level. The Codesign Product Certification from Leanlab Education aims to bring greater transparency to how edtech products are developed. It also serves as a signal for education decision-makers during the adoption process that products have been developed with school communities, rather than for them. 

What makes Along work is our foundational approach to working with amazing school leaders and educators from coast to coast, and incorporating their feedback so that we can make Along even more responsive to their needs. We hosted an in-person meet-up for a group of our school leaders to network and learn from each other. The day-long event brought educators together to workshop solutions on prioritizing and creating even more impact through stronger teacher-student connections. 

“Working with the designers elevated my thought process for what could be possible,” said Tanis Griffin, school leader at Thompson Intermediate School in Houston, Texas. “Discussing my problem of practice and brainstorming solutions with designers was a great experience.”

Along’s recognition with the Leanlab badge means it will also be featured in ISTE’s Edtech Index.
